Adam Thompson is a co-founder of JoinedUp. A high-growth, pure technology company providing cutting-edge, mobile-first software to transform the way end hirers and agencies manage their mix of high volume permanent and temporary staffing. Acquired by Beeline in 2021, JoinedUp is now part of a broader end to end suite of workforce management solutions.

Adam and his co-founders grew JoinedUp out from their similar platform called the Driver Exchange that specialised in the workforce management of fleet drivers. The platforms won several awards including Motor Transport’s Best Use of Technology award in 2017 and TALiNT Partners’ Workforce Management Solution of the year in 2020.

Before the Driver Exchange, Adam co-founded and owned Milestone Operations Ltd which he built to over £50m of annual sales and sold to Staffline Plc in September 2015. During Adam's time owning and running the business, Milestone was chosen by the London Stock Exchange as one of the fastest-growing and most dynamic SMEs in the UK and included in their 2015 report "1,000 companies to inspire Britain". Milestone also won Recruiter's "Best Temporary Recruitment Agency of the Year" 2012.

Before starting businesses, Adam worked in the UK and the USA in senior sales and business development positions for OpenTable, Bloomberg and Methods Consulting.
