How is this different from my ATS search?

Most ATS search, including the ones marketed as "AI-powered", is keyword matching with a new label. Candidately rebuilds your candidate database as a semantic index from scratch. It understands that "Big 4" means Deloitte, PwC, EY, and KPMG. That C# and .NET are related. That "senior" means different things in different contexts.
