Interview with Abhishek Agarwal

Do you consider Online Staffing Platforms as a thread to your current business? What advice would you give to a staffing operator to stay competitive with new Online Platforms entering the staffing market?
Online Staffing Platforms have been gaining attention in the last few years but there’s a caveat called compliance (including worker classification, government income reporting, and more). Employers and freelancers have to figure all these out by themselves but a business like ours considers all these factors. Additionally, for staffing, nothing beats a human touch to the whole endeavor. In fact, staffing contractors are quite vital to these platforms as well! There’s a certain level of credibility in question and brands rely on us to provide them the best talent out there, something that staffing platforms can’t guarantee.
My advice to operators is simple – work hard and don’t let any online service become a threat to your motivation. We’ve got this.
What is your view on remote work in staffing?
Work from Home/Remote Work arrived as a necessity and has truly changed the face of the corporate industry. However, my opinion on this issue is comprised of the best of both the models – remote and in-office. At Judge, we are functioning with the help of a hybrid model that allows appropriate time for team discussions, motivation, and more when we work from the office; The other two days are handled from home because we prioritize well-being of all our team members.
It has yielded stupendous results so far with our productivity increasing by a whopping 20%!
What is your go-to place for news and advice on new trends in the staffing market?
I keenly follow SIA, Gartner, American Staffing Association etc.
